Barnett Racing Clutch Components
Barnett first started making clutch plates in the 1950's with components for Harley Davidson and European bikes.

In 1991, Barnett was the first motorcycle clutch manufacturer to use Kevlar friction material and in 1993 Barnett introduced CNC machined aluminium friction plate cores that feature wider drive tabs to reduce wear on clutch baskets. Newer innovations include the "CF" series Carbon Fibre friction plate material and the Scorpion billet clutch assemblies for Harley Davidson. In 1999, Barnett went through a complete makeover & moved to a new facility in Ventura, California. The move was performed in order to continue to produce top quality products in a timely and professional manner. All Barnett products are made in the U.S.A. with the finest materials available. At PDQ we aim to keep good stocks of all their performance clutch kits and accessories.

Today, there's a huge range of Barnett replacement clutch components for all Japanese motorcycles, including coil spring conversions for the R1, V-max, XJR and FJ1200 models and heavy duty springs for all popular machines. We have listed a selection of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha applications but please call us for other requirements.

Barnett Billet Clutch baskets for Ducati Models

Barnett clutch baskets for Ducati are CNC machined from tough 2024-T3 billet aluminum and utilize stainless steel inserts which prevent severe grooving from the clutch plate tabs. These baskets weigh in at just sixteen ounces and are anodised in gold. Available for various Ducati six-speed, dry clutch models. For optimum performance, install a new Barnett clutch kit with your new basket!

Barnett Coil Spring Conversions

Barnett spring conversion kits are designed to convert the stock diaphragm spring assembly to a coil spring assembly. These conversion kits will give your bike a more positive, controllable clutch engagement compared to the stock set up. These kits include a CNC machined billet aluminum pressure plate and heavy duty coil springs. Available for the 1998 & up Harley Davidson Big Twins, Late 1984-89 Harley Davidson Big Twins, Yamaha FJ1100/1200, YZF1000 R1, V-Max, XVZ13 Venture Royal Star, 1600/1700 Road Star and XVS1100 V-Star.
